Once you are up in the plane, enjoy a scenic 15 minute flight over the mountains to reach elevations. Once the plane door opens, your exhilarating skydive adventure begins with an unforgettable free fall from 25 seconds to 60 seconds (depending on which skydive height you select). Reach speeds of up to 200 kmph as you fly through the skies. After your exciting free fall, the canopy will open giving you time to enjoy a 5-7 minute flight over the stunning national parks of Glenorchy. Photo and videos packages are available so you can relive the experience all over again. Times may change depending on weather * Summer (October - April) : 7am, 9am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm * Winter (May - September) : 8am, 10am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm * Check in 15 minutes prior to trip * Allow 4 hours for the whole experience Location * Depart from the New Zealand Skydive Centre located at 35 Shotover St, Queenstown What To Bring * Secure shoes (no sandals or jandals) * Warm layers of clothing depending on the season * Contact solution in case your contact lenses dry out Additional Information * If weather conditions are not favourable at Glenorchy, there is an option to transfer to Queenstown or Wanaka, at no additional cost (subject to availability). If you cannot rearrange to another date or drop zone, you will be refunded in full * Maximum weight is 115kg. All persons over 94kg are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone. Persons 94kg - 104.9kg will incur a weight surcharge of $50 and those 105kg-115kg will incur a weight surcharge of $75 (payable at time of check in) * Minimum jump age is 6 years. Children 12 years & under will be permitted to skydive from a maximum height of 9,000ft * The minimum weight is 30kgs/66lbs and minimum height is 1.2metres/47.2inches. All passengers must fit securely into the harness * All children are subject to an assessment on the day by the Tandem Master. Passengers under 18 years require written parental/guardian consent * You need to be in a reasonable physical condition to skydive although a physical disability may not necessarily be a barrier to tandem skydive * Spectators are welcome free if there is a spare seat on the transport from Queenstown. Please book a spectator at the same time as your skydive. Please be aware that spectators seats are subject to availability. The operator will confirm whether or not there is space available for spectators at the same time of your weather check on the day of your skydive.
