What to expect

We'll embark on an hour drive from Chiang Mai City to Mae Wang. Once there, we'll head up to the rafting river, a journey that will only take around 30 minutes. Each raft has a capacity of about 3-4 people, depending on weight distribution. You're welcome to enjoy the rafting experience either by yourself or with the assistance of a guide if you prefer. Get ready for an unforgettable experience that will leave you amazed and smiling!

Roughly Itinerary 
  • 09:00 am. We'll meet you at Thapae gate (near McDonald) to kick off the day's adventure and head to Mae Wang.
  • 10:00 am. Arrived at Mae Wang, a district in the central part of Chiang Mai province in northern Thailand. Our first stop will be the vibrant Mae Wang Market, where you can indulge in local treats.
  • 11:00 am. Time to enjoy a meal before we proceed to the rafting river.
  • 12:00 pm. Next, we'll head up the hill to bamboo rafts. The Mae Wang River adventure is one you absolutely shouldn't miss while exploring Northern Thailand. We're on a bamboo-made raft, about 4-5 meters long, specially designed to stay steady even as we glide over the river's rocky sections. The water is super clear and refreshingly cool.
  • 04:00 pm. It's time to return you to Chiang Mai City area. We sincerely hope you've had a fantastic journey with us!
