Then, make your own way to the takeoff point for your 40-minute seaplane flight. Meet your professional pilot and admire your aircraft: a modern Cessna seaplane that takes off from and lands on water.  Get a safety briefing and take a seat inside the shared plane. Put on your seatbelt and feel your heart lift as your plane gathers speed on the water and rises above the Dubai coastline. Have your camera ready as you soar around the Burj Khalifa and sail-shaped Burj Al-Arab hotel. Snap photos of the palm-tree-shaped archipelago of the Palm Jumeirah; and look down on The World, the stunning 300 or so sandy islands built in the outline of a world map. Swoop over Port Rashid and hover above Dubai Creek and the Deira and Bur Dubai neighborhoods as your pilot points out the landmarks. Then, glide over the skyscrapers and luxury yachts of Dubai Marina, and circle the golden beaches, golf courses and ships and cranes of the Jebel Ali port area.
