What to expect

Welcome to our brand new Al Khayma Camp, nestled in the heart of Dubai's Al Aweer Desert, a place filled with tranquility and unique Bedouin charm. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with Arabic coffee, local sweets, and dates. You can interact with the camp's camels and even enjoy a camel ride across the dunes for a truly unique desert experience.


At the camp, you can enjoy a variety of activities such as feeding camels, watching falconry shows, and experiencing henna hand painting. Afterwards, we prepare a rich appetizer, including a live snack station, Arabic coffee and tea, Unlimited soft drinks, and even a shisha station for you to enjoy.


We invite you to savour exquisite cuisine across three distinct buffets. Here you can immerse yourself in a rich cultural experience and savour a wide range of Arabian cuisine, relax and rejuvenate. Our Al Khayma Heritage Restaurant, winner of the Michelin Bib Gourmand award, combines traditional Emirati, Arabian and Moroccan flavours. Savour the unique Madfo lamb dish, grilled underground to ensure authentic flavours. There are also live grill stations and traditional bread-making demonstrations, taking you on a culinary journey of Khaleej flavours. Let the camp’s lush landscape be your idyllic backdrop for a delicious Bedouin experience that will make your stay unforgettable.

How to use

Show your mobile or printed voucher at the venue unless your confirmation email says otherwise. Ticket redemption steps are finalized when you choose a package in the partner portal.

Terms & conditions

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

It is highly recommended that you eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid sickness during the dune bashing.

We highly recommend having international travel insurance, as self-driving activities carry inherent risks that may lead to serious injury. Coverage for such incidents is typically provided only through your personal insurance.

The quad biking segment is solely the participant's responsibility. Any damage, injuries sustained or items lost during the quad tour are not covered by insurance

All desert safari drivers are well trained and licensed for safari drives. The 4WD vehicles are fully insured and well equipped with all necessary safety features, such as roll bars, seat belts, government trackers, GPS, GMS, and a First Aid box

OceanAir Travels shall not be responsible for any kind of loss, accident, sickness or injury.

Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.

Casual, loose fitting clothing is recommended in the summer, along with a jacket in the winter

Please note that if your skin is sensitive to henna, it is advised not to do it.

The 11:30 AM Timing slot comes with a Lunch buffet, and it doesn't include the Star Gazing & Fire show since it's during the day timing

Pickup will be within 45min prior to your selected departure time. Please be ready at the hotel lobby on time.

Pick-up timing is subject to change due to the emerging summer heat: 1 hour earlier in the morning and 1 hour later in the afternoon. A notification shall be sent in advance in the case of any change.

During the holy month of Ramadan you can watch only Fire shows in our desert camps

Everything listed in the Inclusions is part of the tour and is covered in the price. Quad biking is available if the option is selected.

By UAE law, pregnant ladies, anyone with back or neck pain, heart problems or other serious medical complaints and infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed during the dune bashing activity. (If these conditions apply to you, you can wait at the meeting point until others complete the adventure activities.)
