Join this Murray River stargazing tour to visit one of South Australia’s most significant cultural sites, enjoy a traditional pub dinner and stargaze with astronomers and astrophotographers at the internationally accredited Mid Murray Dark Sky Reserve. Whether you are new to the world of astronomy or you are completely obsessed with all things astronomy, this tour will take you to one of the darkest places on earth to enjoy uninterrupted views of up to 5000 stars without the blinding lights of urban areas. Following a visit to the Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal Cultural Site to see the fascinating riverside cliffs inhabited for 5,000 years, you will stop for dinner at Swan Reach Hotel and settle in for the night with a glass of bubbly at the Big Bend Cliffs to see the clearest views (weather dependent) of the Southern Cross, Milky Way and the universe.
