※ For safety reasons, the Chung Tai Museum will be closed due to factors such as typhoons (when the Nantou County Government announces work and class suspensions) and inclement weather.
※ If the attraction is unavailable due to weather or other uncontrollable factors, please visit on another day. Refunds or compensation cannot be requested.
Closed on Mondays (open on national holidays, closed the following day)
※ Additional closure days: The day before Lunar New Year's Eve and Lunar New Year's Eve, government-declared natural disaster closure days, and other necessary closure days announced by the museum.
Once the booking QR code is redeemed, it cannot be reused if lost. Tickets cannot be refunded once used or damaged.
Note: The ticket is only valid on the "purchase date" as indicated by the date stamp, and can be used at both the main museum and the Woodcarving Branch. When visiting the second venue, please scan the paper ticket directly at the entrance gate for admission. Please keep your redeemed paper ticket safely.
Both venues require paper tickets for entry and exit. Please scan your paper ticket at the entrance and exit, and keep it safe. Lost tickets will not be reissued or refunded.
To ensure a safe and quality visit, please comply with the following tour notices:
1. Bags, umbrellas, selfie sticks, and water bottles larger than A4 size (approx. 20x30cm) must be stored in coin-operated lockers or at the service counter. For large backpacks and group storage, please inquire at the service counter. Please keep valuables with you at all times.
2. Please dress neatly; do not wear tank tops, slippers, et cetera, into the venue.
3. Pets (except guide dogs), toys, dangerous items, food, and beverages are not allowed inside the venue.
4. Smoking, betel nut chewing, and gum chewing are prohibited in the venue.
5. Please refrain from loud conversations or phone calls in the exhibition area.
6. Photography, videography, and touching exhibits are prohibited within the exhibition area.
7. Bringing food and non-vegetarian items into the exhibition area is strictly prohibited.
8. To preserve the artifacts, the temperature in the museum and its branch exhibition halls is kept relatively low. Please dress warmly to avoid feeling cold.
9. To ensure the safety of personnel and cultural relics, and to maintain the quality of the visit, playing Pokémon games is prohibited inside the exhibition hall.
